Short description of the project:

The project proposal envisages revitalization of the space and renovation of the exposition in the Archeology Hall of the Regional History Museum - Pazardzhik, in accordance with all standards and requirements for presenting the cultural heritage to the public. The new exhibition design includes the introduction of high-tech methods, their use for the presentation of the exhibited cultural values, which leads to a more memorable and effective message for consumers. Providing interactive experiences, the museum will become a center of attraction not only for children but also for representatives of different age groups. The movable cultural values ​​and the information about them will be located in exposition zones, which will be built on the chronological sequence of the main historical epochs, as each epoch will represent one section of the exposition - Prehistory, Antiquity and Middle Ages. There will be a space for small temporary exhibitions - where new discoveries will be presented after each archeological season, exhibits of the month, restoration processes of individual artifacts and other thematic and visiting exhibitions. In this way, the exposition will be constantly enriched and supplemented and will increase the interest of the museum visitor. In the space for work with children and the educational center - on the principle of playing in a museum environment, a full educational, aesthetic and social experience in the museum will be achieved. The exhibition space will be tailored to the specific needs of people with disabilities, giving them equal access to the exhibits through various means of presentation. It will be envisaged to create conditions for equality and adaptation of children and adults from the ethnic minority and to develop their cultural identity.
