Brief description:
The general goal of the project is to increase the capacity of the municipalities of Pernik and Bobov Dol to develop and implement active policies at the local level to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt and mitigate climate change. The specific goals of the project are:
•Creation of a mechanism for analysis, evaluation and adaptation of strategic documents at the regional and local level for the implementation of active policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adaptation and mitigation of climate change;
•Mobilization and enhancement of local administrative and economic potential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adaptation and mitigation of climate change at the local level;
•Encouraging the implementation of policies at the local level to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and climate change adaptation and mitigation through the implementation of pilot measures.
