Brief description:
The main goal of this project proposal is to improve waste management and use it as a resource by implementing 4 municipal schemes for separate collection and recycling of waste in the municipalities of Ruse, Tutrakan, Slivo Pole and Vetovo. The implementation of the schemes aims to improve the status of the environment and to reduce the effects of pollution and other human actions, to improve the quality of life of the population in the 4 municipalities, to ensure equal access for all stakeholders, to provide a cleaner and more comfortable living environment. All this is a prerequisite for achieving growth in the development of the local economy, job creation and reduction of economic and social disparities in the European Economic Area.
Another goal set in the project proposal is to raise the awareness of the population, stakeholders and the general public regarding waste sorting and recycling of waste. The implementation of this project will contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the program and the program results.
