The initiatives are approved by the Cooperation Committee of the Home Affairs Programme under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
On April 17, 2024, the Programme operator of the Home Affairs Programme, funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 announces a call for initiatives under the fund for bilateral relations.
The objectives of these initiatives are to enhance the cooperation and improve the mutual relations between Bulgaria and Norway. The relations between Bulgaria and Norway shall also be strengthened through the implementation of activities aiming at increasing the strategic cooperation, networking and exchange of knowledge between entities in Norway and Bulgaria, and through other joint initiatives beyond the programmes.
The deadline for submission of the initiatives under the fund for bilateral relations is May 27, 2024.

The call for predefined initiatives under the fund for bilateral relations, Home Affairs Programme, Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 was amended.
The deadline for submission of the initiatives was changed and extended up to 30th of May 2024.
In this regard, the indicative timeline is as follows:

Beginning of the assessment process: 31.05.2024
End of the assessment process: 07.06.2024
Signing of the contract: 21.06.2024
