224 probation officers have been trained to use the new offender risk assessment toolkit.
In Tryavna / 13-17 November 2023. / and in Stara Zagora / from 20 to 24 November this year / GDEP is implementing sub-activity 2.5 "Training of Probation Officers in the use of the new Offender Risk Assessment Toolkit" under the project "Strengthening the Implementation of Alternative Measures to Imprisonment" (Predefined project 3) under the Justice Programme, Programme Area 19 "Correctional Services and Pre-trial Detention" of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014 - 2021.
Probation officers were trained in the use of the updated risk assessment tool and the software platform developed for offenders sentenced to probation.
Presenters of the training were representatives of the contractor Prometrix Ltd - Dr. Nikolay Nikolov and Tatiana Brickler.
The next step is the practical implementation of the updated tool and the developed software platform.
