On 26 October 2023. On 20/2020, the NIP organized a one-day in-person training with the participation of Judge Ionko Grozev from the ECHR and Judge Galia Valkova from the SGS on: "Current trends in the ECHR's jurisprudence on domestic violence cases. Applicability of International Standards for Protection from Domestic Violence in Cases Under the DPAA".
It will be held at the Grammy Hotel - Sofia and will provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the latest case law of the ECHR in civil and criminal cases related to domestic violence (with a focus on the newly convicted judgments against Bulgaria), as well as a systematic review of the current legal framework in the field, in the context of the established standards in the practice of the Court in Strasbourg.
The main target groups are judges, prosecutors, investigators and other representatives of the professional community.
