The Ministry of Justice announced a public procurement with the subject: “ANALYSIS OF THE REASONS FOR THE Ineffective Implementation of the Judgments of the European Court of Human Rights”.
The notice is published in the Public Procurement Register (eop.bg). The deadline for submission of tenders is 01.08.2022.
The activity on the preparation of the Analysis is part of a project implemented by the Directorate “Legal Representation of the Republic of Bulgaria before the European Court of Human Rights”. It is a concrete response to the ongoing findings of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe on the delayed implementation of the ECHR judgments by the responsible national authorities, and especially on the judgments that are placed under enhanced monitoring. It is designed to facilitate interaction between the responsible actors to ensure effective implementation of the human rights standards developed in ECHR jurisprudence by the legislative, executive and judicial authorities.
The project “Enhancing the National Capacity for the Effective Implementation of the Judgments of the European Court of Human Rights” is implemented with the financial contribution of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014 – 2021 under the programme area “Justice”.
