On July 20, 2023, the municipality of Lyaskovets held an opening press conference under project No. BGLD-1.007-0017 "Establishing a municipal market in Dzhulunitsa village for sale of local products from the territory". The general goal of the project is aimed at implementing innovative approaches for the development of local employment in the municipality of Lyaskovets, by activating the opportunities to sell local products and promoting flexible work practices to create work opportunities for disadvantaged groups.
The specific objectives of the project are: Stimulating employment and increasing the competitiveness of local enterprises and agricultural producers and local authorities in the territory of Lyaskovets municipality, by introducing innovative work practices based on local resources and increasing the well-being of the region; Improving the capacity of local employers to initiate innovative approaches in business development and employment, by activating opportunities to sell local products and promoting flexible working practices to create work opportunities for disadvantaged groups; Organization of meetings between employers and jobseekers and creation of job opportunities for disadvantaged people, provision of accessible information about vacancies.
Within the framework of the project, the implementation of construction and assembly works is planned for the allocation of adjacent infrastructure at the municipal market in the village of Dzhulyunitsa. The implementation of the activity will improve the conditions for the supply of local products from local enterprises, agricultural producers and producers coming from the area. Construction and installation works are expected to start in August 2023. An important part of the implementation of the project is the creation of employment for four persons in twelve months. The total value of the project is BGN 186,230.78, and the duration of its implementation is until 04/30/2024.
