On April 13, 2023, a press conference was held at MBAL LEVSKI EOOD under project BGLD-1.007-0021 "JOB CREATION AT MBAL-LEVSKI EOOD BY INTRODUCING INNOVATIVE PHYSIOTHERAPEUTIC SERVICES". The main goal of the project is to create employment for the unemployed from risk groups by increasing economic activity and revealing innovative medical practices in the field of physiotherapy. The target group of the project are unemployed people of pre-retirement age, young people, young mothers, single parents, people with disabilities, low-skilled persons, including representatives of vulnerable groups. Under the project, seven unemployed people from the target group were appointed, who went through training for professional qualification and digital competence related to the specific jobs. According to the project, a Center for innovative recreational services will be created at the "Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine" department of MBAL-Levski EOOD. Two types of innovative physiotherapy services will be launched at the Center: Rehabilitation with virtual reality (with the therapeutic system Nirvana) and Salt therapy (Halotherapy). The project product has a strategic potential to attract users of this type of service from other regions of the country. The development of innovative physiotherapy services at MBAL-Levski EOOD creates conditions for the launch of alternative (health) tourism, as well as for the socio-economic development of the municipality. The project deadline is April 30, 2024.
