On August 22, 2023, the Programme Operator held a Round Table on the topic "Sustainability of the youth centers financed under the program "Local development, poverty reduction and enhanced inclusion of vulnerable groups" and development of youth work in Bulgaria".
The programme supports four existing and four newly established youth centers in the municipalities of Stara Zagora, Plovdiv, Vratsa, Dobrich, Burgas, Pernik, Gabrovo and Montana. The youth centers in Stara Zagora and Plovdiv have been awarded the Council of Europe Quality Label - for the first time in the history of the international organization, this award has been awarded to two youth centers in one country.
In April 2024, the projects financed under the Programme will complete their implementation, which entails the next step of their cycle, namely their sustainability. At the meeting, joint goals were set among the interested parties, through which the foundations and common understanding of youth work, youth centers and spaces, youth policies, as well as the role of youth workers and educational mediators were laid together.
