On August 8, 2023, an opening press conference was held under project BGLD-1.007-0061 "Renovation of an existing city market in Momchilgrad". The project envisages the modernization and renovation of the city market in the city of Momchilgrad by carrying out construction and assembly works on the market site, purchasing equipment to offer a variety of higher quality services, creating jobs and conducting training to improve their professional skills qualities and skills. The project envisages activities that will contribute to the promotion of local production and local producers, by providing adequate conditions for offering and selling local goods. The realization of the project will help to improve the employment of the population and increase the income in the area. After renovation of the field, specialized equipment necessary for the normal functioning of the city market in Momchilgrad will be purchased. 8 new jobs were created on the territory of Momchilgrad municipality. Also, within the framework of the project, newly appointed people will be trained in order to improve their professional qualities and skills. The project deadline is April 30, 2024.
