Opening Conference under the project "Building capacity for educational and social inclusion"

The Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Ms. Maria Gaidarova, opened the conference, stating that education is reorienting towards the individual support for every child and student, towards providing appropriate conditions and resources for this, including overcoming the consequences of the pandemic, especially for children from vulnerable groups.

 

 

Ms. Maria Valova, head of the Programme operator of "Local development, poverty reduction and enhanced inclusion of vulnerable groups" Programme, welcomed the participants and acquainted all those present with the priorities of the Programme, its social impact and achievments. Ms. Valova confirmed that the Center for Educational Integration of Children and Students from Ethnic Minorities project implemented in partnership with Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" is extremely important and will provide quality training to many of the management and implementation teams in all areas of the Programme. 

 

 

During the opening conference, the activities for the implementation of the project were presented, as well as aspects of the development of the policies for dealing with social exclusion  of representatives of vulnerable and marginalized communities.
