On June 29, 2023, an opening press conference was held in the city of Bansko for the presentation of a project BGLD-1.007-0069 "Creating new jobs to stimulate economic activity and implementing an innovative model for diversifying the tourist product and popularizing alternative forms of tourism in the municipality of Bansko", beneficiary "GETSOV AND PARTNERS CONSULTANTS" Ltd. Partners in the project are Rodna rech association from Norway and Raido Tour OOD. The project will contribute to the creation of sustainable jobs, stimulation of economic activity and innovative models for supporting employment in the field of tourism in the territory of the municipality of Bansko. It is planned to support measures aimed at creating sustainable employment and new jobs. In addition, the project envisages the implementation of an innovative approach to support employment, by using innovative models for the development, diversification and promotion of traditional and alternative forms of tourism.
The achievement of the general goal will be accomplished by implementing the following specific goals within the project:
- Disclosure of 4 new jobs and activation of long-term inactive persons;
- Creating job opportunities for disadvantaged groups;
- Organization and conduct of trainings to increase the capacity of newly appointed employees;
- Development of innovative approaches for the development of local employment;
- Promotion and confirmation of the city of Bansko as a year-round tourist destination;
- Promotion of traditional and alternative forms of tourism in Bansko Municipality;
- Development of an innovative approach to providing information to job seekers;
- Organization of meetings between employers and jobseekers in the field of tourism;
- Exchange of experience and good practices with a partner from the Kingdom of Norway.
The total value of the project is BGN 280,950.67 and will last until April 30, 2024.
